Job Summary
Design custom crane systems, components, and assemblies using SolidWorks, creating 3D models, BOMs, and technical documentation. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams to ensure designs meet customer needs, industry standards, and safety regulations. Perform field surveys, shop inspections, and root cause analysis while executing corrective actions. Assist with project drawings, submittals, and fabrication documentation, ensuring cost-effective solutions that align with American Equipment Holdings' standards.
Required Qualifications
- SolidWorks Professional Certification (CSWP)
- Certified SolidWorks Expert (CSWE) credential
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience
- Crane Design experience
- Bachelor's degree, or Associate degree, or Technical certificate
- Experience with PDM and part creation
- Legacy AutoCAD utilization
- In depth understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Understanding of basic engineering principles
- Familiar with CMAA, ANSI/ASME, OSHA specifications & requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Proof of right to lawfully work in the United States
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
