Mechanical Designer

Review project scope, mechanical budget, and design approach with the Project Manager or client. Perform calculations and energy models to formulate layouts for HVAC, piping, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Create engineering documents using CAD technology and conduct field measuring and checking at construction sites. Review drawings for errors, compliance with building codes, and product submittals for specification adherence. Maintain organized project files and coordinate with other disciplines while communicating scope changes to management. Work independently on smaller projects with some supervision from the Manager of Mechanical Engineering.
