Job Summary
Develop comprehensive facility mechanical designs by applying advanced HVAC theory, codes, and best practices to produce riser diagrams, schedules, and plans. Implement inputs from project engineers using Revit, AutoCAD, and energy calculation software while coordinating electrical, plumbing, and fire protection requirements. Attend internal and client coordination meetings to ensure alignment with senior staff and take personal ownership of all produced work. Expectation of technical and management growth to assume more responsible roles within this fast-growing MEP firm, with opportunities for learning project management and budgets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- E.I.T. exam passed
- military training
- field experience
- proven relevant technical experience
- Experience working in a professional A/E office, Consulting Firm, Construction Contractor, or equivalent
- Ability to travel
- Proficient in Revit
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Proficient in energy calculation
- Proficient in word processing
- Proficient in spreadsheet
- Strong written, verbal and communication skills
- ability to participate in a collaborative team environment
