Job Summary
Mechanical Designer/Drafter II role based in Tucson, AZ (onsite) focused on coordinating, creating, and maintaining Technical Data Packages (TDP); producing dimensioned detail drawings compliant with industry standards and Raytheon EDS; updating drawings per engineering change requests; applying GD&T analysis; using CREO Parametric for solid modeling; and collaborating across functions to support programs requiring DoD security clearance. The position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance, with relocation offered.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date; DoD Secret clearance type is required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of prior relevant mechanical design experience or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience with CAD solid modeling tools and analysis tools, with emphasis on ProE/CREO Parametric.
- Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T) analysis and creating complete mechanical and design drawing packages.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date.
