Job Summary
Create high speed connector product CAD models and maintain internal and customer CAD drawings using Creo Parametric. Collaborate with product development, signal integrity, and process engineers to capture design intent, facilitate design changes, and expand concepts into product families. Apply advanced feature techniques, reference geometry, and top-down design methods to ensure accurate modeling and assembly design. Participate in design reviews and manage multiple projects with attention to GD&T and manufacturing technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Associates Degree in Engineering, CAD, or a related field
- 3-4 years Creo Parametric experience
- Proficiency in Creo Parametric Release 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8
- High level of Creo Parametric modeling and assembly design skills
- Advanced part and assembly features
- Reference geometry and shared data
- Feature patterns and copies
- Surfacing, quilt operations
- Top-down design techniques
- Family tables
- Detailing, dimensional and geometric tolerancing (GD&T)
- Familiarity with industry standard drafting and detailing practices (ANSI, ASME)
- Demonstrated attention to detail, thoroughness in work, and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment, with minimum supervision
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of manufacturing technologies (stamping, molding, plating)
- Knowledge of Windchill PDMLink 11 or 12
