Job Summary
Lead mechanical design for robotics and automation projects, coordinating across mechanical, electrical, and software teams to deliver concepts through build, testing, and delivery. Tackle real-time design issues during assembly and testing, help develop project plans, schedules, and technical proposals, and mentor junior engineers to support team growth. Participate in client discussions, design reviews, and key milestones, leveraging 5-10 years of mechanical design experience, strong CAD skills, and a balance of hands-on design work with project leadership. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications

- Manage projects from concept and design through build, testing, and delivery
- Support assembly and testing by troubleshooting design issues in real time
- Help develop project plans, schedules, and technical proposals

- 5-10 years of mechanical design experience in automation, robotics, or machinery
- Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, Solid Edge, or similar)
- Ability to balance hands-on design work with project leadership
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communication across teams, functions, and, at times, with clients
