Mechanical Design Lead Engineer

Job Summary
3D model creation and production drafting for new product design of industrial machinery; work with the customer to refine production specifications and execute their product vision; consult with Manufacturing to resolve issues and improve product manufacturability; update documents of existing designs to resolve issues such as EOL components and customer requests; mentor technicians and junior engineers to develop their skill sets; experience with weldment design, sheet metal parts, machined parts, electro-mechanical designs, vacuum process systems, and design for manufacturability/cost; proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (required) and Solidworks (advantage); familiarity with engineering change management, MRP, and QMS; ideally 6–10 years in mechanical engineering roles with a Bachelor’s degree, and strong hands-on CAD/drafting capabilities for NPI and sustaining engineering.

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 6 ~ 10 years of similar position experience
