Job Summary
Maintain drawing and design standards based on the Mechanical Department's current guidelines while developing designs per company specifications. Prepare mechanical flow diagrams, general arrangements, and plant layouts, including piping schematics and equipment drawings. Coordinate with structural engineers and other disciplines to resolve interface differences, acting as the first detail checker for completeness and accuracy. Oversee the filing of production drawings, manage issue folders, and notify project managers and leads regarding scope changes. Document meeting minutes and phone conversations to support team operations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or relevant technical degree
- 2 to 5 years of 3D design-modeling experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in engineering sketches
- Experience in calculations
- Experience in general arrangements
- Experience in plant layouts drawings
- Experience in Revit
- Experience in Solidworks
- Experience in Inventor
- Experience with other 3D software
