Mechanical Design Engineering Manager

Job Summary
Mechanical Design Engineering Manager leads the Electrical/Design Engineering team, plans, organizes, and directs the department; drives recruitment and retention, develops training curricula, coaches staff, and creates succession plans; establishes measurable goals and performance metrics, manages team evaluations, and drives continuous improvement in cost, quality, and production readiness; communicates with leadership (including BUM and WW Director of Design Services), and oversees policy development, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination to deliver engineering solutions and design-for-manufacturability across programs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated high performance orientation and detail orientation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and SAP
- Training, coaching, and staff development
- Cross-functional coordination and project management experience
- Experience with design-for-excellence, manufacturability, cost, quality, and production readiness
- Ability to build partnerships and manage projects
