Job Summary
Design HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems for high-rise and multi-storey building projects in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards. Prepare and review mechanical design calculations, drawings, and layouts using AutoCAD to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with relevant codes. Coordinate with Architecture, Structure, Electrical, and other MEP teams to identify and resolve design clashes and interface issues. Prepare BOQs, specifications, and equipment schedules while providing technical support during construction to resolve discrepancies between drawings and site conditions. Identify practical, cost-effective design solutions that maintain required performance, quality, safety, and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
- PEC Registration
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in Mechanical Building Services Design
- Hands-on experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting design for multi-storey/high-rise buildings
- Good understanding of relevant codes, standards, and mechanical design practices
- Experience in preparing and reviewing design calculations, drawings, BOQs, and technical documents
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong analytical, technical, coordination, and problem-solving skills
