Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and manufacturing to understand project requirements and objectives. Conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical components and systems for electric vehicles, including chassis, body structures, suspension systems, and drivetrain components. Utilize CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D models, conduct feasibility studies, and perform engineering analysis to evaluate design concepts for performance, reliability, and safety. Generate engineering documentation, prototype designs, and validate performance to optimize for efficiency and manufacturability. Work with suppliers to source components while adhering to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial product and manufacturing design experience, preferably in the automotive industry
- Experience with CAD software, such as Catia, NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication in English
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-pace environment
