Job Summary
Own the mechanical integration of our autonomy platform into UAVs, payloads and ground systems. Design mechanisms, enclosures and interfaces from concept trade-off through CAD, flight tests, and production introduction to deliver robust hardware for flying, connected multi-domain systems. Collaborate with electronics, prototyping, manufacturing partners and customer-facing teams to realize an ambitious vision of whole-system integration, including sealed avionics enclosures, cooling concepts, and packaging for UAVs and associated ground platforms.
Required Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 2+ years of hands-on hardware design and development experience
- Proficiency in 3D modelling (CAD, Onshape) and producing production-quality drawings
- Familiarity with selection and sizing of structural elements, fasteners, interfaces and thermal paths
- Understanding of kinematics, packaging and electro-mechanical systems
- Fluency in English; German is a plus
