MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER TO ALFDEX

Job Summary
Develop and maintain mechanical designs, CAD models, drawings, and BOMs for Alfdex electric drive units. Drive the mechanical development of generic drive unit platforms while supporting customer-specific projects and continuous product improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in mechanics, electronics, and software to develop next-generation mechatronic products, ensuring designs are robust, manufacturable, and cost-efficient. Participate in technical investigations, design reviews, and validation activities throughout the product lifecycle. Based at HQ in Landskrona with occasional travel, this role supports long-term product development within a global R&D organization.
Required Qualifications
- A university degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Several years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Professional proficiency in English
- Experience working closely with manufacturing, suppliers and product development teams
- Knowledge of verification, validation and Design for Manufacturing principles
Desired Qualifications
- Experience from Creo
- Professional proficiency in Swedish
- Experience within mechatronics, electric motors, electronics packaging, automotive or other high-quality manufacturing industries
