Mechanical Design Engineer - Pressure Vessels

Mechanical Design Engineer / Project Engineer to design and fabricate heat exchangers and HVAC components under ASME codes; responsible for creating customer requirements, initial design drawings, calculations and BOMs, coordinating customer drawing and specification approvals, monitoring components through manufacturing and production, coordinating quality inspections, serving as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, creating design reports with minimal supervision for multiple product lines, performing thermal calculations for coil designs, performing design validation calculations per ASME Code, applying judgment to develop solutions and allocate work, maintaining project and sales order tracking, coordinating resources to provide on-demand QA and shop-floor support, providing technical guidance to Sales and customers, and managing welding/brazing activities including procedures, approvals and certifications.
