Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary
Design and develop mechanical components and products based on customer requirements, creating and modifying 3D models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation. Evaluate design concepts to recommend optimal technical solutions balancing functionality, manufacturability, and performance. Prepare technical reports, product specifications, and design documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and project management. Support manufacturing by ensuring designs comply with internal quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations such as IATF and ATEX. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and engineering processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Experience in mechanical design and product development
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling using SolidWorks or other comparable CAD software
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
- Good communication skills and English proficiency (B1 level or higher)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with thermal analysis and electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g. ANSYS or similar)
- Experience in the automotive or industrial sector
- Knowledge of magnetic field applications
- Familiarity with automotive quality standards (IATF) and ATEX requirements
- Experience working in a global manufacturing environment
