Job Summary
Mechanical Design Engineer for the Dematic EMEA Case Conveyor Systems team focusing on intralogistics conveyor technology. Responsibilities include basic and detail engineering: creating approval layouts, safety assessments, detailed layouts and interfaces with other trades; BOMs and procurement data creation; detailed planning of maintenance platforms and safety devices; coordination with supplier and CE Compliance; installation support and data handover to the installation team. Qualifications include a mechanical engineering degree, 3-5 years in project engineering, experience with conveyor technologies, and proficiency in AutoCAD, NX, Teamcenter, Navisworks, and SAP; travel up to 5% and strong English communication skills. The role involves cross-department collaboration across multiple engineering domains and supports Dematic’s global delivery in the EMEA region.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate engineer / Master's or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- 3-5 years of professional experience
- Expertise in project engineering (ideally in intralogistics or similar)
- Expertise in mechanical design (ideally in materials handling or similar)
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Willingness to travel (max 5% of the time)
- AutoCAD knowledge
- NX + Teamcenter knowledge
- Navisworks knowledge
- SAP knowledge (preferable)
