Job Summary
Mechanical Engineer to design subsystems and components for process equipment platforms; create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using CAD tools; assist in design reviews to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability; collaborate with senior engineers to define design requirements, interfaces, and tolerances; generate and maintain BOMs and engineering documentation; support prototype builds, system integration, and troubleshooting; work with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure design feasibility and cost targets; participate in root cause analysis and design improvements based on test or field data; ensure designs comply with internal standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships/co-ops acceptable)
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCad)
- Understanding of mechanical fundamentals (mechanics, thermals, materials, GD&T basics)
- Understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced development environment
