Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer role focused on supporting product development, design, and standard product support for Graco fluid handling systems. Responsibilities include developing product specifications, creating detailed 3D CAD designs (SolidWorks preferred), producing design drawings, conducting engineering analyses (e.g., Finite Element Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics), leading prototype development and lab/field tests, and participating in design reviews and cross-functional team collaboration. Responsibilities also cover troubleshooting product issues, implementing corrective actions, staying current with industry trends, and contributing to process improvements and release-for-sale activities. The candidate should have strong communication skills, a solid mechanical aptitude, and experience in new product development, with manufacturing collaboration and knowledge of Graco’s quality systems. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; this role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
