Mechanical Design Engineer - Data Center

Senior Mechanical Engineer with data-centre, telecom facilities, and mission-critical project experience. Lead and participate in client, design, contractor, and professional team meetings; develop concept and detailed mechanical designs including HVAC systems and cooling solutions; prepare schematics, mechanical calculations, technical specifications, reports, and equipment schedules in line with industry and regulatory standards; coordinate mechanical design with multidisciplinary teams; monitor hours and costs against fees; mentor trainees and engineers; review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and documentation; conduct site inspections, QA/QC checks, and validation of installations; support testing, commissioning and witness testing; ensure compliance with local codes and IS/ISO standards and international guidelines; travel to project sites within India and abroad; take technical lead with minimal management input; promote energy-efficient mechanical engineering solutions.
