Job Summary
Design mechanical components and assemblies for new product development using Creo Parametric, creating 3D models, drawings, and manufacturing documentation for plastic, sheet metal, machined, and casting parts. Apply DFM/DFA principles, perform GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis, and support prototype builds, testing, and design validation while collaborating with electronics, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve production issues. Manage engineering documentation, BOMs, and release packages to deliver high-quality electromechanical products. This role requires 2–3 years of experience and is based in Pune, India.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in mechanical product design
- Proficiency in Creo Parametric for 3D modeling and assembly design
- Understanding of New Product Development (NPD) processes
- Knowledge of plastic part design and injection molding
- Experience in sheet metal, casting, and machined component design
- Good understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturing processes
- Basic knowledge of structural, thermal, or flow simulation
- Familiarity with prototype development and product validation
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Experience in electromechanical product development
- Exposure to PLM/PDM systems and engineering change management
