Job Summary
Mechanical Design Engineer role focusing on creating, modifying, and analyzing equipment/system designs, with emphasis on design verification against standards, development of reusable technical solutions, and cost estimates. Responsibilities include preparing GA drawings and BOMs for fabrication, applying design thinking and design-for-excellence concepts, and ensuring safety, cybersecurity, and quality requirements are met. Requires 3-5 years of mechanical design experience, proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, and the ability to communicate in English. Position is onsite in Nashik, India, reporting to the Engineering Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (full-time)
- 3-5 years experience in Mechanical Designing of MV Switchgear (GIS)
- Hands-on experience in Preparing GA drawings, detailed assembly & part drawings for fabrication and assembly, detailed BOM preparation for procurement
- SolidWorks
- AutoCAD
- English communication
