Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and improving HVAC components and systems to meet performance and regulatory requirements. Performs calculations (thermal, structural, airflow), creates and reviews technical drawings and documentation, develops BOMs, supports prototype testing and validation, and collaborates with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and reliability. Contributes to cost-reduction and process-improvement initiatives, and maintains knowledge of industry standards, materials, and technologies. Works in a hybrid office/manufacturing environment with on-site tasks and regular cross-functional collaboration. Requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience; PE license or EIT certification is preferred.
