Job Summary
Manage Mechanical Engineering department staff workload and coordinate Mechanical/HVAC projects with MEP teams to ensure timely completion. Review scopes, budgets, and schedules while assessing project and financial performance. Prepare construction drawings and specifications, build client relationships, and provide technical leadership including production scheduling, quality control, and cost proposals. Assist with business development and facilitate construction administration meetings. Review contractor submittals and provide feedback. Requires Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, 18+ years of MEP experience, and 8+ years in project management. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- 18+ years of overall MEP experience with a strong focus on HVAC projects
- 8+ years of project management experience
- Prior experience working with local municipalities/government agencies
- Experience managing Mechanical/HVAC staff at various levels
- Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
