Job Summary
Lead mission critical commissioning projects as a project lead and technical resource, requiring independent judgment and evaluation. Develop and manage commissioning plans, procedures, checklists, and test scripts for Level 1 through Level 5 activities. Perform technical reviews of design documents and submittals for mechanical and plumbing systems, then lead onsite teams to execute functional performance tests. Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and project team members while developing client relationships and collaborating with management to extend existing partnerships. Provide project management and coordination to meet client expectations for technical excellence, budget, and schedule. Requires 10+ years of progressive building systems commissioning experience, including 3 years in mission critical facilities, with 75% national travel.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years or more of progressive experience in building systems commissioning
- at least 3 years of mission critical facility experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems
- Able to work as part of a team, think creatively, and problem solve
- Working knowledge and experience of electrical systems
- Willingness to travel 75% or more as national level projects dictate
