Job Summary
Mechanical Construction Manager leads onsite mechanical coordination for hi-tech projects, manages the Mechanical Team and drives onsite mechanical quality control. Oversees mechanical process subcontractor and vendor installation to maintain schedule, coordinates MEP startups, reviews submittals and RFIs, conducts startup meetings with multiple stakeholders, trains clients’ personnel in operations/maintenance of MEP systems, assists in budgeting and staffing, and serves as technical advisor onsite at Sunnyvale project site.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent field work experience
- Education background in materials and methods of construction
- A minimum of five (5) years of process construction experience required
- Specific experience in industrial and/or hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects is preferred
- LEED Accredited Professional or the ability to become accredited within eighteen (18) months preferred
