Mechanical Commissioning Supervisor

Job Summary
Supervise the commissioning of equipment and packages by ensuring plans are followed, ITRs are completed accurately, and inspection schedules are managed. Conduct regular inspections to identify issues, approve Job Hazard Analyses, and provide guidance to team members while promoting safety compliance with client and company OHSE policies. Liaise with other disciplines and vendors to coordinate site activities across multiple locations in North West WA. The role involves FIFO rosters of 8:6 or 2:1 with 12-hour shifts, rotating from 3 to 6 months, with paid travel time between Perth and the site. Candidates must hold a WA White Construction Card, LVR/CPR, and relevant trade certifications. Required Qualifications
- Current LVR / CPR
- WA White Construction Card
- WA Drivers License (C Class)
- S26 Training
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and D&A Screening
- 3 Years + Commissioning experience (Mining, Oil & Gas or Heavy Industry)
- 12 Months + Supervisory experience (Mining, Oil & Gas or Heavy Industry)
- Ability to read and correctly interpret mechanical drawings and IOM's
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- High Risk Work Licence – EWP (WP)
- Confined Space Entry & Gas Testing
Desired Qualifications
- Rio Tinto, BHP, or FMG Inducted
- Experience with conveyor systems, crushers, pumps, motors, and associated field equipment
- Mechanical Trade Certification
