Job Summary
Mechanical Co-Op based in Raleigh, NC, working with engineers to generate drawings from engineer markups in REVIT; perform HVAC load calculations; research codes and standards; assist with handwritten calculations and various engineering tasks; participate in site investigations and observation of projects locally in Raleigh; develop CAD/3-D skills and problem-solving abilities in the construction/ HVAC consulting environment; strong communication and basic Word/Excel skills are expected.
Required Qualifications
- At least Sophomore status in an accredited Bachelor’s Degree Program in Mechanical Engineering
- Fluent in engineering problem solving
- Can communicate ideas and concepts well
- Has interest in the HVAC consulting industry
- Comfortable and fluent in basic computer skills including Word and Excel
- A level of understanding and experience in CAD/3-D skills
