Mechanical Building Services Engineer (Foot Mobile)

Job Summary
Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive maintenance requests across commercial buildings in Central London. Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and minor installation works, and maintain HVAC systems and associated plant equipment. Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) for first-line diagnostics and complete maintenance reports and compliance documentation accurately. Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with statutory compliance requirements while building strong relationships with clients. This role involves working across multiple sites with a competitive salary, travel card, overtime, and a 1 in 4 call-out rota.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (mechanical bias)
- Experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management
- Strong fault-finding experience across mechanical building services
- Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and safe systems of work
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
