Job Summary
Mechanical Associate responsible for conducting thorough vehicle mechanical inspections, diagnosing issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems using diagnostic tools, documenting results for transparent disclosure to buyers, and collaborating with internal teams to support efficient auction operations. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, experience in automotive inspection/diagnostics/light repair, and ASE certifications are a plus. Emphasis on attention to detail, safe work practices, and customer-focused communication. Compensation includes a pay rate of $31.89/hour, with full-time benefits including 401(k) and employee stock purchase program.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in automotive mechanical inspection, diagnostics, and light repair
- ASE Certifications A1,A4,A5 are a plus
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, tools, and computerized systems
- Ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
