Job Summary
The Mechanical Assessor II will lead mechanical and plumbing portions of facility condition assessments, focusing on HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, cooling towers, chillers, and boilers. Responsibilities include conducting on-site assessments, identifying and documenting deficiencies, providing budgetary recommendations, and interfacing with clients. Candidates should have at least 4 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. The role may require up to 40% travel for projects.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years’ related experience
- Experience with mechanical systems to evaluate HVAC, plumbing, and other building equipment
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
Desired Qualifications
- Direct experience in conducting facility condition assessments for mechanical and plumbing equipment
- Experience assessing healthcare and educational institutions
- Prior cost estimating experience
- Demonstrated experience with Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, Tablets and Mobile device tools
