Job Summary
Marine Assembler at Tiara Yachts performs hands-on assembly of mechanical, electrical, and structural components for hull and deck, including light plumbing, caulking, and sealing to ensure leak-free installations. Route and install wire harnesses and hoses, operate heavy-duty equipment (hoists and overhead cranes), interpret blueprints and instructions, and conduct visual quality checks. Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S). Collaborates across departments on cross-functional tasks; typically on-site in Holland, MI, Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm. Emphasizes craftsmanship, precision, and teamwork in building vessels that deliver joy and pride to their future owner.
Required Qualifications
- A solid foundation in basic mechanical, electrical, or plumbing tasks
- The ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied physical positions (standing, kneeling, climbing)
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, processes, and systems
- Strong teamwork and communication skills — you’ll work closely with multiple departments
