Job Summary
Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools while interpreting technical drawings and schematics to ensure accuracy. Perform quality checks and inspections at various assembly stages to verify compliance with specifications and safety standards. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues, document defects in logs, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment adhering to OSHA and industrial safety protocols. This entry-level position requires foundational mechanical knowledge, proficiency with precision instruments, and the physical ability to lift 30 lbs. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and fastening methods
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Proficiency in using hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers) and power tools (drills, grinders, impact drivers)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy in workmanship
- Basic knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, rulers)
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift to 30 lbs, and work in a factory environment
