Job Summary
Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand tools and equipment per work instructions and drawings. Select, stage, and kit mechanical and electrical components for production and shipment in accordance with work orders and Bills of Materials. Utilize the MRP system to locate, identify, and track parts, applying FIFO inventory practices to ensure proper stock rotation. Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs while adhering to safety procedures and material handling standards. This role supports production and logistics operations at the South Phoenix Oil & Gas Company, contributing to efficient assembly flow and accurate product movement.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, associate degree, or Vocational School Certificate
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift, move, and position materials and components weighing up to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read and use a tape measure
- Automotive or mechanical background
- Electrical assembly knowledge
- Experience operating forklifts, slings, or similar material-handling equipment
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to access drawings, email, and production documentation
