Job Summary
Lead daily mechanical assembly operations and directly supervise assemblers and working leads to ensure production schedules are executed safely, efficiently, and on time. Coordinate labor assignments, tooling readiness, material staging, and workflow sequencing; oversee attendance, productivity, and workforce accountability; enforce safety procedures and quality standards per assembly instructions, torque specs, and engineering drawings. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, support onboarding and cross-training, provide coaching and technical support, and collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to resolve operational constraints and maintain schedule adherence and labor efficiency. Maintain clear shift-to-shift communication and escalate risks affecting production performance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years of manufacturing, assembly, or production leadership experience
- Experience supervising production personnel within industrial manufacturing environments
- Experience coordinating production schedules, labor resources, and operational priorities
- Knowledge of mechanical assembly processes and manufacturing workflow systems
- Strong leadership, coaching, and workforce management skills
- Strong troubleshooting and operational decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple production activities simultaneously
- Preferred Qualifications: Associate’s degree or technical certification in Manufacturing, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Operations, or related field
