Job Summary
Mechanical Assembler at Systems, LLC (an affiliate of Chamberlain Group) performing skilled fitting and/or mechanical or hydraulic assembly of parts and sub-assemblies using hand tools, power tools, or equipment; read drawings and shop orders; perform in-depth inspection to ensure product meets specifications and quality standards; operate cranes/hoists; identify defects and report issues; maintain records; uphold health and safety guidelines; continuous education and professional development encouraged; bonus: $1000 sign-on. Must have experience in manufacturing, mechanical aptitude, knowledge of hydraulic/electrical systems, and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy parts; required to stand, walk, sit, and maneuver in tight or elevated spaces. The role is based in Malvern, AR, with opportunity to contribute to lean manufacturing processes and quality control in a U.S.-based facility.
Required Qualifications
- No minimum education required
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment or can demonstrate sufficient competence in area
- Intermediate understanding of mechanical concepts/mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit up
- Ability to use hand to finger, handle, and feel
- Ability to climb and balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
