Job Summary
Assemble mechanical components and products using hand and power tools according to engineering drawings and quality standards. Lay out, position, align, and fit parts together by bolting and riveting. Repair finished goods by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling components. Read blueprints and operate presses and clamps while maintaining strict adherence to safety procedures for lifting heavy materials. Work Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm in our Colorado Springs manufacturing facility.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an assembler
- Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
- Ability to use tools (e.g. clamps) and machines (e.g. presses)
- Good understanding of quality control principles
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
- Must be able to safely handle heavy materials throughout the workday while following established safety procedures
