Job Summary
Assemble mechanical components according to specifications and schematics using small power tools and precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers. Read blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and install finished units in cases and cabinets. Conduct quality checks on products to ensure compliance with standards while collaborating with team members to meet production goals. Maintain a clean work environment and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including carrying out supervisory responsibilities as required. This 1st shift role (6AM-2:30PM) in the Tempe/Mesa area offers $19-20/hr. Candidates need a high school diploma, 2+ years of experience, and proficiency with hand/power tools and ERP systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of on the job training/experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Assembler or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques
- Attention to detail

- Ability to learn and become proficient in the use of an ERP system and other databases
