Job Summary
Assemble electrical components, circuit breakers, switches, and transformers into Automatic Transfer Switches by reading engineering drawings, interpreting schematics, and following ISO 9001 and 5S standards. Position, bolt, and fasten parts using hand and power tools while drilling, tapping, and installing bus bar sections per specifications. Work in a safe, systematic manner to meet CSA and company quality requirements, offering technical expertise to the manufacturing team. Perform repetitive motions including lifting up to 30 lbs, squatting, and standing for long periods. Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday shifts from 5:45 am to 4:15 pm, four 10-hour shifts weekly, with a starting rate of $28.44 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience with electrical and/or mechanical
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience or training in mechanical/ industrial assembly
- Experience with power tools – jig saws, grinders, pneumatic tools, cutters
- Comprehension of wires sizes and corresponding carrying capacity
- Physically fit; ability to lift 30 lbs
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Must be flexible, highly motivated, organized & show attention to details
- Excellent work ethic
- Manual dexterity
- Hand-eye coordination
- Team player
- Familiarity with and own basic tools
- Able to recommend, advise and execute improvements to the production process (techniques, tools, panel layout, materials, etc.)
- Must be available for Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday: 5:45 am to 4:15 pm - 4 X 10-hour shifts per week
- Must be available for work at your designated Regal Rexnord office
- Must be available for work in Langley
- Must be available for work in the Aldergrove Business Park (Langley)
