Job Summary
Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical products using engineering drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials. Install hardware components including screws, standoffs, rivets, and cable clamps while routing wire harnesses to meet workmanship standards. Perform box-build assemblies, chassis assemblies, and final product integration using hand and power tools. Verify materials against BOMs prior to assembly and conduct visual inspections to ensure compliance with IPC quality standards. Identify and report material shortages, drawing discrepancies, and quality concerns. Complete production documentation accurately, maintain organized workstations following 5S and ESD requirements, and assist with product rework and prototype builds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions
- Comfortable using common hand and power tools
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for production documentation
