Job Summary
Prepare customer fixtures for press fits and finish circuit board buildups according to specifications. Audit kits from Prep/Insert to ensure correct customer-approved components and counts, then ensure the production area remains clean and maintained. Follow the weekly build/ship schedule via your supervisor, communicating any schedule risks immediately. Redline and communicate documentation discrepancies, and report quality issues within fifteen minutes of discovery. Maintain safety stock of consumables and order supplies as needed through your supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years' established work experience, preferably in a manufacturing or computer component environment
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective communications with other team members and stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Must be able to read and comprehend assembly and build instructions and other written material
- Must be able to learn and work with LEAN working methods and processes
- Must comply with standards set by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- Ability to learn and follow ISO 9000 process
Desired Qualifications
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
