Mechanical Assembler

Mechanical Assembler on production lines responsible for installing, assembling, and inspecting components and sub-assemblies. Tasks include installing purchased or preassembled components, following general instructions and standards, preparing components to meet published schedules, lifting and moving assemblies (up to 50 lbs), inspecting products for proper fit and function, conducting installation inspections, maintaining safe working procedures, organizing the shop floor, reading and interpreting blueprints/drawings, and demonstrating proficiency in precision layout and measurement. Emphasis on teamwork, problem solving, continuous process improvement, and ability to manage multiple tasks across shifts, with opportunities for growth and training.
