Job Summary
Mechanical Assembler responsible for producing and assembling machine parts according to specifications, reading blueprints, using micrometers/calipers, operating overhead cranes and rigging, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Requires reading and following blueprints and shop orders, handling parts with precision, and collaborating with others to develop solutions; includes occasional parts preparation for painting and department-cleanup projects.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and manufacturing instructions
- Ability to use hand tools and machine tools (e.g., drill press, band saw, cut-off saw, grinder)
- Mathematical skills including basic arithmetic and metric conversions
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to navigate CAD documents (preferred)
- Ability to travel internationally and domestically (preferred)
