Job Summary
As a Mechanical Assembler III, you will be responsible for assembling or fabricating mechanical parts according to required specifications. Key duties include maintaining and building specialty industrial equipment, assembling machinery, and testing completed products. Candidates must possess a good mechanical background, experience with welding, operation of forklifts, and familiarity with assembly tools and guidelines. This role requires the ability to work independently and includes responsibilities related to inventory updates and machinery maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience
- Successful completion of welding tests and qualifications
- Good mechanical background
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material moving equipment
- Knowledge of machines, hand tools and power tools needed for assembly
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and instruction
