Job Summary
Perform skilled fitting and mechanical or hydraulic assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and units using hand tools, power tools, or equipment. Conduct in-depth inspections to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards while aligning, adjusting, and performing secondary machining from drawings and shop orders. Operate cranes, hoists, or lift tables and use precision measuring instruments to identify defects and report issues. Maintain accurate production records/logs and comply with health and safety guidelines. This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing or pulling up to 100 pounds, with a pay range of $18.41 - $28.62/hr.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment or can demonstrate sufficient competence in area
- Intermediate understanding of mechanical concepts/mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit up
- Ability to use hand to finger, handle, and feel
- Ability to climb and balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to see, talk, and hear
