Job Summary
Assemble, install, align, adjust, and fit subassemblies and parts using appropriate tools and fixtures per work instructions. Clean parts using acetone, braze assemble components, and perform preset calibration and final testing on sub-assemblies or complete units. Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and CMMs while maintaining tooling and equipment. Utilize computer programs to enter part data, log time, and look up instructions, and use work instructions and method documents to set up machines and inspect machined parts. Collaborate in a team environment focused on lean manufacturing, safety, and productivity. Work the 2nd shift (2 PM – 10:30 PM, M-F) with flexibility for overtime and occasional weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of related work experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to perform shop math
- Ability to use precision measurement equipment
- Willingness to work 2nd shift (2 PM – 10:30 PM, M-F)
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to work occasional weekend shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to wear PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.)
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
