Job Summary
Assembles, installs, and tests units per drawings and customer specifications using hand tools, assembly fixtures, and test devices. Reads drawings to determine positions of components, installs fixtures, and inspects products to verify changes meet customer specs. Performs cleaning, material gathering, drilling and tapping, grinding, painting prep, and final unit testing with gauges and instruments. Ensures correct paint colors from drawings, completes traveler documentation, and maintains a clean, safe work area. Shift options include Day (6:00-4:30) and Evening (4:30-3:00). Requires ability to follow instructions, work under production pressure, collaborate with teammates, and lift up to 50 lbs; high school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Flexibility and ability to work under production pressure
- Ability to work in cooperation with other team members
- Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, work on knees for extended periods of time, work on ladders at heights and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work in enclosed spaces for extended periods of time
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements
