Job Summary

Use magnification aids and stereo-microscopes to solder components and ECO wires to PCBs, adhering to IPC-A-610 standards. Employ hand tools to manually assemble components by following customer Bills of Material and assembly notes. Communicate discrepancies to management to ensure products meet specifications and company quality standards. Read and comply with ISO procedures, work instructions, and engineering drawings for all assembly projects. Accurately complete inspection forms and report results while maintaining a clean work environment. Interact professionally with managers, co-workers, and vendors. Perform duties in a fast-paced environment with occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 year experience in the printed circuit board assembly industry
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical, thru-hole, surface mount, electronic component identification and performing reworks on printed circuits boards
  • Ability to install hardware on assemblies, components and parts per documentation
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret all documentation related to PCB Assembly, quality control specifications, IPC 610 certification, blue print drawings and engineering specifications
  • Ability to use quality related measuring equipment and all hand tools required for PCB Assembly
  • Ability to follow procedures and maintain quality of products at all time
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk throughout the day
  • Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications

  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Prior experience with ISO 9001/9002 or QS9000 preferred
