Job Summary
Assemble mechanical and electrical components to build complex dry ice blasting systems according to engineering drawings and specifications. Test and troubleshoot systems to detect technical problems, while conducting visual inspections of components and completed units to ensure quality standards. Maintain accurate records of production data and testing results, and collaborate with engineering, quality control, and production departments to streamline assembly processes. Make recommendations for improvements that increase efficiency and reduce production costs. Follow safety procedures, keep tools and work areas clean, and utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to complete tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with safety procedures and guidelines
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex engineering drawings and specifications
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and electrical testing equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of basic math and computer skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in assembly or related field a plus
