Job Summary
The Mechanical Assembler role requires assembling and testing a variety of moderate to semi-complex products, primarily mechanical with some electrical components, in a manufacturing environment. Successful candidates will have strong mechanical reasoning, a background in hydraulics or electronics, and the ability to work with limited supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years direct industry related experience in assembly/test in a high‐technology manufacturing environment
- Demonstrate understanding of semi‐complex products involving electronics, dual systems, and multiple part families
- Able to research problems and develop solutions, incorporating multiple variables, to successfully repair product to serviceable condition
- Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications
- Strong mechanical reasoning, as well as hydraulic and/or electrical background required
- Measurement conversion and fluids theory knowledge required for test applications
- Leakage, flow, friction, and pressure knowledge required
