Job Summary
Mechanical Assembler on 2nd shift responsible for assembling units on the production line using prints, work instructions, and wiring diagrams. Tasks include using manual and powered hand tools, measuring and insulating water piping, reading blueprints and CAD models, and entering information into Windows/CAD systems. Ensures quality through quality and production checklists and adheres to safety standards. Shift is 2PM–10PM with a $5.00 shift differential; base pay $25.59/hour plus differential. Requires attention to production schedules, teamwork on the line, and operating overhead hoists and powered industrial trucks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Production experience in a make-to-order assembly role is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret prints, wiring diagrams, assembly checks and CAD models in order to meet production specifications preferred
